Spring is Upon Us!
GREETINGS, VERNAL EQUINOX, HOW FARE THEE?
Yes! Spring has officially sprung according to my astrological sources. Today, the Earth's axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun, making day and night nearly equal in length! Thus explains the name "equinox" as it is derived from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night). Fact!
While winter weather lingers, the birds have begun to sing their spring songs, making me ever-hopeful warmth will return promptly.
Once spring is in full swing, I will begin tackling many new and compelling adventures like hiking through Mohonk Preserve in NY, perusing the trails of Stokes State Forest in NJ, kayaking the Delaware River, and THEN some! Did I mention taking a trip out west to Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and Red Rock State Park in Sedona?
IT'S ON, MOTHERNATURE.
