BRAINSTORM: Spring Hikes in Harriman
Winter, you had your fun, it's time to give spring a chance!
Alas, cold weather creeps back into the northeast and threatens to drop snow just one last time before spring takes the reigns.
While the seasons duke it out, use this time to plan out hikes for the coming weekends!
One of my favorite local places is, of course, Harriman State Park, with its superabundance of diverse trails and terrain to investigate.
Whether you choose to begin at the ever-popular Reeves Meadow Information Center or venture through the Lemon Squeezer, Harriman aims to please.
Visit the NYNJTC for information on these hikes and more from the Harriman and Bear Mountain areas. With "235 miles of trails", you are sure to find something that tickles your fancy!
I'll be sure to share my exploits as SOON as I hit the trails - let's hope this weekend is the ticket!
