VIDEO: XC-Skiing Fahnestock Winter Park

When the sun is shining and the powder is packed, it's time to hit the XC track!

Sweep through hardwood forests and over frozen lakes on the 18km of trails at Fahnestock Winter Park! Located smack-dab in the middle of New York's Hudson Valley within Clarence Fahnestock State Park, this park offers miles "of machine groomed, tracked and mapped trails for beginning and experienced skiers and snowshoers." What more do you need?!

VERY excited to head up to the GUNKS tomorrow for some more spectacular skiing in Mohonk Preserve. While I have been skating through Minnewaska State Park Preserve, I am eager to explore a different section of that white conglomerate rock ridden wonderland!
