VIDEO: Paddling White Lake in Warren County, NJ

Ahh, late July...an opportune time to explore a new watering hole!
I am happy to announce I'm working with the Warren County Dept. of Land Preservation on a project highlighting their excellent parks, including one such watering hole; White Lake Natural Resource Area.

This 394-acre preserve in Hardwick Township, NJ offers plentiful hiking, boating, fishing, and wildlife observation opps from dusk 'til dawn. The centerpiece of this park is spring fed White Lake with its glistening, crystal-clear waters and chalky marl bottom composed of freshwater mollusk shells and clay. While there is NO swimming at this lake (which is made...clear...by the pristine waters), the paddling possibilities are endless.

We kayaked our way around the water's edge, collecting footage and sound clips as well as plenty of sunshine while the morning sun illuminated the cerulean water.
I will be returning back to White Lake as well as a myriad of other locations within Warren County as the project continues and my explorations proceed.
